Description GOLD 4mm BANANA PLUGS Large Cable Entry Gold 4mm banana plugs large cable entry were designed for systems requiring large diameter or multiple cable configurations. The plugs are ideal for use with the best available audio separates and loudspeakers, thus ensuring their optimum sonic performance without any degradation in sound! Designed to fit 4mm amplifier and speaker sockets found on most high-end audio separates such as Arcam, Linn and Quad amps, these 4mm plugs are constructed from a gold plated metal conductor and one-piece screw clamp termination, ensuring a consistently high level of performance and connectivity. Installation of the speaker plugs does not require soldering as the speaker cable can be firmly screw clamped as well as crimped securely into place to give optimum sonic performance. However, soldering will achieve optimum sonic performance in addition to screw fixing cable(s) which can be up to 6.5mm in diameter. The large cable entry connectors are supplied with 9.5mm diameter red and black heatshrink for polarity marking and insulating cable termination.
