Description Product Description All standard group U1 batteries are the same size. The dimensions are 7-3/4″L x 5-3/16″W x 7-5/16″H. Our Group U1 Battery Box will fit batteries that measure up to 8-3/16″L x 5-1/2″W x 7-3/8″H. It also fits group 24, group 27, group 29, and group 31 models. Please measure your battery before ordering to make sure it will fit. This heavy-duty battery box is impact-resistant and will give years of great protection for your battery. The cover has built-in vent channels to allow battery gases to escape. This product is made of polypropylene which is not affected by battery acid, oil, gasoline, or other harsh liquids. It includes a hold-down strap and a mounting hardware kit. Our battery boxes are made in the USA at our factory in Ohio. Other Battery Box Models We also make other models that fit 6-volt, group 24, and group 27 batteries. In addition, we have a Large Adjustable Battery Box that will fit multiple sizes. This lets you switch to a different battery without the need to replace the battery box. To keep the battery positioned, just place the plastic panel into the slot closest to the battery. The extra space in the box can then be used to store other small items. Each model includes a protective cover with integrated cable slots.
