Description: A stunning 19th Century well figured mahogany marble top console table of exceptional quality and finely hand carved with beautifully rich patination and grain. The striking moulded Marquina Black marble top of rectangular form with fluted border is raised over an elegantly simple single drawer deep frieze above a fitted mirror glass plate back to the rear and a pair of gorgeous scroll side supports to the fore with acanthus leaf motif detail above serpentine platform base, terminating on fabulous lion paw feet, finely carved in high relief.
