A Very Rare Large 19th Century French Bronze Clock Garniture Set Fully Restored and Polished

Description: A very rare 19th Century French well cast bronze clock garniture set of grand proportions, exceptional quality, fully restored and polished.  The stunning set comprises of a clock with a gorgeous pair of matching five branch candelabra, all are exquisitely decorated with elaborately detailed Neoclassical motif detail throughout comprising of urns, foliate, scrolls, finials, female caryatid and flaming urn finials.  The finely cast bronze clock is surmounted with a Neoclassical urn with an acorn finial, scroll handles, beautiful swags of foliate and gadroon detail.  The fabulous bronze modelled dial of circular form is housed in a glass case with  foliate and scroll motif detail and features twelve individual white enamel cartouches with the time keeping in roman numerals in black against white ground.  The dial is flanked with a striking pair of elegant Neolcassical female caryatid supports to the sides bearing flaming urns and a Neoclassical female masque is set below the dial.  Supported on panelled and shaped platform base with a further charming arrangement of foliate, scroll and flowerhead motifs.    Dimensions: Clock H: 25 in / 63.5 cm   W: 18.75 in / 47.6 cm   D: 8.25 in / 21 cm Candelabra H: 29 in / 73.7 cm   W: 12 in / 30.5 cm   D: 12 in / 30.5 cm  Stock Reference No: A3993
