The stem holds a swivel globe which is signed 'Cram Universal, made by George Cram and Co.', and is set within a finely hand carved 19th Century ebonised and gilded stand raised on elegant tapering fluted and turned legs united by concave shelved undertier, terminating on brass and ceramic casters.
