Description: A very fine and impressive pair of early 20th Century Chinese porcelain urns with Chinese stamps to the bases and are of exceptional quality, beautifully modelled and exquisitely hand painted with stunningly detailed decoration throughout in wonderful hues of pinks, greens, blues, oranges and gold against white ground. This fabulous pair are surmounted with everted, shaped and gilded rims raised above an elegant baluster vase body flanked with a fantastic pair of twin green and gilded Foo Dog handles to the sides and further gilded dragon motifs in relief applied to the front of the body. They both feature multiple series of cartouches to the body which depict striking figural court scenes set within wonderful arrangements of colourful floral ground patterns, hand painted upon the porcelain surface.
