Description: A very rare pair of 19th Century Sienna marble urns of exceptional quality with finely cast polished brass mounts throughout. This fantastic pair are beautifully modelled in striking Sienna marble and feature a decorative brass mounted everted rim with beaded row and gadroon motif detail and a brass mounted collar to the neck, above an elegantly tapering ovoid body flanked to the sides with a stunning pair of well cast polished brass scroll and foliate handles terminating in exquisite swan mask heads. Raised on a fabulous polished brass gadrooned and fluted socle with beaded row detail, supported on a stepped platform Sienna marble base of square form with further conforming applied brass foliate decoration.
