Description: A very rare 19th Century cast iron two seater bench, finely crafted, of exceptional quality and features beautifully detailed grape and vine motifs throughout. The fabulous curved, shaped and pierced diamond lattice work back with an arrangement of stunningly cast acanthus, grape and vine motifs weaving intricately within the decorative lattice work, surmounted with centred foliate detail flanked with richly trailing acanthus leaves and scroll motifs. Raised over pierced downswept scrolling arms with further leaf and vine detail above a decorative pierced lattice panelled seat with an elegant serpentine apron, supported on graceful scroll x frame legs with further vine detail conjoined with stretcher.
